Ahead of theexcavation, The French Ambassador, Mrs. Marie Masdupuy recently met the Acting Director General,Department of Archaeology, Mr. Imrul Chowdhury at his office. The Ambassador was accompanied bythe Director of the French Archaeological Team, Mr. Vincent Lefèvre and the Deputy Directorthe same Mrs. Coline Lefrancq. Both sides had a very fruitful meeting as they exchanged mutual viewsto ensure a successful excavation every year.
