Visiting Indonesian Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Anis Matta today paid a courtesy call on State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Aninda Islam Amit at his office at the Bangladesh Secretariat.
During the meeting, the two sides reaffirmed the longstanding and fraternal ties between Bangladesh and Indonesia and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, said an official handout.
They also expressed their keen interest in exploring avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation in the days ahead.
Indonesian Vice Minister Matta is on an official visit to Bangladesh from 5 to 9 October.
