President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of former Dhaka-4 lawmaker Salauddin Ahmed.
The President conveyed his condolences in a message issued today.
In the message, he prayed for the eternal peace and salvation of the departed soul and expressed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Salauddin Ahmed breathed his last at last night while undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held after Zohr prayers today at Lal Mosque in Shyampur-Kadamtali.
