Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today attended a special display at the Army Stadium in the capital to mark National Revolution and Solidarity Day.
He arrived at the Army Stadium in Banani at around 9:30 am, said PM’s Assistant Press Secretary Gazi Shahriar Pamir.
The programme was organised by the Ministry of Defence under the supervision of the Armed Forces, he said.
Around 3,000 cadets of the Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) and 500 members of Bangladesh Scouts are taking part in the display.
Cabinet members, MPs, senior officers of the Army, Navy and Air Force, other senior government officials, and foreign diplomats attended the programme.
