It was a great honour to serve as Secretary General of the Consular Corps in Bangladesh (CCB) and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Croatia to Bangladesh at the Welcome Reception in Honour of H.E. Shama Obayed Islam, Honorable State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, who graciously attended as the Chief Guest.
The evening brought together more than 70 representatives from the international diplomatic and consular community, including Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Consuls General, Honorary Consuls General, Honorary Consuls, Heads of International Organizations, senior government officials, and distinguished business leaders.
We were also privileged to welcome:

The reception provided an excellent platform to strengthen diplomatic engagement, foster international cooperation, and promote greater collaboration between Bangladesh and the international community. It was also a privilege to honour the remarkable contributions of the late Datuk A.K.M. Shahidul Islam and Mr. Salahuddin Kasem Khan for their dedicated service to the consular community.
My sincere appreciation goes to our President, Hon. Nasreen Fatema Awal, the Executive Committee, fellow board members, sponsors, and everyone whose dedication made this prestigious event a great success.
I look forward to continuing our efforts to build stronger diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties between Bangladesh and our international partners.
