The Royal Thai Embassy in collaboration recently
with Siam City Cement (Bangladesh) Limited,
organized a Royal Thai Volunteer Project at
Beparipara Primary School in Narayanganj, Dhaka,
to celebrate the birthday anniversary of Her
Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana
on 3 June 2024.
On this occasion, Thai Ambassador Mrs.
Makawadee Sumitmor, the Embassy’s officials and
representatives from Siam City Cement
(Bangladesh) Limited, planted a Golden Shower tree
(Cassia fistula), the national tree of Thailand, at the
entrance of Beparipara Primary School, situated in
the nearby community to the plant of Siam City
Cement (Bangladesh) Limited, about 45 kilometers
from Dhaka. The participants joined in school
building painting activity and handed over portable
fans, 507 sets of stationary and instant noodles
sponsored by Thai President Foods PCL to
schoolchildren.
The Embassy’s delegation also paid a visit to the
plant of Siam City Cement (Bangladesh) Limited,
which is one of the Thai investments in Bangladesh,
established in 2017.
