The Russian diplomatic mission’s employees and pupils of the Embassy school took part recently in a
series of events on the occasion of the International Mother Language Day.
For the second year in a row, the Embassy employees presented the concert program at two venues:
the Foreign Service Academy and the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. The show included three
pieces: a choral performance of the song “The nightingale sang in the grove”, a khorovod (folk round
dance) and a children’s dance accompanied by a live performance of the song “Valenki”. The program
aroused sincere interest of the audience.
