Norwegian Ambassador H. E. Håkon Arald Gulbrandsen celebrated United Nations Day on 24 October
among the dedicated humanitarian workers, working tirelessly to help improve the lives of people in the
world’s biggest refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar.
Since 1945, the United Nations ���� has been working for peace and security, human rights and
providing humanitarian assistance and supporting development.
Norway is one of the largest contributors to the UN. Norway’s longstanding support for the UN’s
initiatives in Bangladesh ���� and around the world has made a lasting impact in advancing peaceand
