Thijs Woudstra, Chargé D’’Affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands inaugurated the
Workshop on Sustainable Business Growth in Apparel Sector of Bangladesh: Enhancing Workers
Productivity and Resource Efficiency as part of Reclaiming Sustainability project. He acknowledged the
remarkable achievements of Bangladesh RMG and emphasised the need to remain competitive by
enhancing productivity. The event was also attended by Mr. Tapan Kanti Ghosh, Senior Secretary,
Ministry of Commerce, Government of Bangladesh; Mr. Faruque Hossain, President of BGMEA.
