Justice Muhammad Khurshid Alam Sarkar of the High
Court Division has been removed from his position as a judge.
A gazette issued by the Law and Justice Division and signed by Secretary
Liaquet Ali Molla stated that, based on an investigation by the Supreme
Judicial Council, Justice Khurshid Alam Sarkar was found unfit to properly
perform the duties of his office.
“…therefore, in accordance with the provisions of clause (6) of the
reinstated Article 96 of the Constitution, the President has removed him from
his position on November 5, 2025,” the gazette added.
