The 15th Japanese Speech Contest in Bangladesh was held at Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh. At the
final round of the contest, top 18 Japanese language learners impressed the audience and juries with
their speaking skill. The competition was co-organized by the Japanese Universities Alumni Association
in Bangladesh (JUAAB) and the Embassy of Japan.
Among the final contestants, Surovi Akter, with the speech titled “The Two Things Changed Me” in
advanced category won the first prize. Mr. Atikuzzaman Al Mamun delivered a splendid speech titled
“Me & My Country Bangladesh” and was awarded the first prize in the Beginner’s category.
This year’s contest was sponsored by Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Saito Nenshi Bangladesh, Kaicom
