Recently, Japanese Ambassador Iwama paid a courtesy call on General Waker-Uz-Zaman, Chief of Army
Staff. During the meeting, Ambassador Iwama expressed his gratitude for the warm support and
cooperation extended by Chief of Army Staff in the bilateral relations between Japan and Bangladesh.
Ambassador Iwama also conveyed his intention to continue collaborating with the Bangladesh Army and
exchanged views on topics such as bilateral relations and defense cooperation.
