Italian Ambassador Antonio Alessandro recently called on State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications
and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak at the ICT Division.
During the meeting the Ambassador expressed the interest of Italian defense conglomerate Leonardo in
the ‘Bangabandhu Stellite-2’ constellation system for Earth observation and to help develop local
expertise in space infrastructure design and manufacturing.
