Recently, France Embassy’s regional civil protection attaché, Jean-Michel Dumaz recently came to
Chittagong and met with the Chairman of Chittagong Port Authority and the Zonal Commander of Coast
Guard East Zone. Chittagong Port has been selected under the project Global Port Safety financed by
France and the European Union to avail capacity building program aiming at enhancing safety in large
Asian port.
