Diplomats recently visited some installations that severely damaged by protesters during the anti-quota
movement on Thursday and Friday last.
They visited the state owned BTV, metro rail stations, Setu Bhaban, the disaster management as well as
the health departments and data center to see the situation on ground, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
arranged the visit. Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud invited them to visit the sites during a meeting
with the diplomats.
About 23 diplomats and representatives from 26 missions/ representatives from UN organizations
visited the areas.
"They became astonished to see the devastating rampage across the areas, expressed deep concerned,"
Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud told journalists following the visit.
