Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen held a meeting recently with Dr. Samanta Lal Sen, Minister of Health and
Family Welfare. The discussions between the two parties delved into various topics, including bolstering
the exchange of health professionals between China and Bangladesh, promoting healthcare services in
China among Bangladeshi citizens, and facilitating collaboration between the two nations’
pharmaceutical firms. The meeting was attended by Dr. Rokeya Sultana, State Minister of the Ministry of
Health and Family Welfare of Bangladesh, Mr. Md Jahangir Alam, Secretary of the Ministry of Health and
Family Welfare, as well as Mr. Li Shaopeng, the Cultural Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in
Bangladesh.
