Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen delivered recently a lecture upon invitation at the Foreign Service
Academy of Bangladesh. Md. Iqbal Hussain Khan, ndc, Director General of FSA and diplomat trainees
from Bangladesh and other 5 countries were present at the lecture.
Ambassador Yao pointed out that at present, both China and Bangladesh are in a critical period of
development and revitalization. The two countries have had rapid economic development, maintained
long-term social stability and benefited from a strong leadership core. In the face of the complex
international situation, China has steadily advanced the Chinese modernization, maintained the
resilience and vitality of economic growth, and made significant contribution to the global economy.
China promotes the building of a community with a shared future for mankind, advocates an equal and
orderly multipolar world and a universally beneficial and inclusive economic globalization. Looking
forward to the prospects of cooperation on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic
relations between China and Bangladesh, China is willing to work with Bangladesh to expand
cooperation in a wide range of areas, firmly safeguard international fairness and justice, and promote
the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
At the end of the lecture, Ambassador Yao had friendly interactions with the trainees on China-US
relations,China-India relations, China-Bangladesh cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative,
Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the Ukraine Crisis, etc.
