The Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief has allocated and distributed cash assistance and relief materials to seven flood-affected districts hit by heavy rainfall, flash floods from upstream, and landslides. The flood-affected districts are Khagrachhari, Rangamati, Bandarban, Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram, Moulvibazar and Habiganj. A total of 57 upazilas, 334 unions and nine municipalities have been inundated. The floods have claimed 57 lives and left 40 people injured.
