The Central Executive Committee and Advisory Committee of the Faridpur Zilla School Alumni Association have been formed.
The committees were announced at an informal ceremony held at Hotel Sheraton in Banani, Dhaka, on Thursday night (August 13). The Central Executive Committee consists of 31 members, while the Advisory Committee has 17 members.
The information was disclosed in a press release issued Saturday morning (August 15) by Rajibul Hasan Khan, Publicity and Public Relations Secretary of the newly formed Central Executive Committee.
For the 2026–2028 term, Mirza Md. Arifur Rahman has been elected President and Md. Wahid Mia Secretary General.
Other office-bearers include Md. Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, Nabikul Islam Khandaker and A.F.M. Anwar Hossain Khan as Vice Presidents; Kazi Moin Uddin and Md. Nazmul Haque as Joint Secretaries General; Mehedi Hasan Chowdhury as Treasurer; Golam Mostafa Tanu as Organizing Secretary; Md. Saiful Haque Shafin as Publication and Library Secretary; Md. Nurul Islam as Employment and Human Resource Development Secretary; Khondkar Shoeb Wallace as International Affairs Secretary; Rajibul Hasan Khan as Publicity and Public Relations Secretary; Monowar Shikdar as Education Development Secretary; Chinmoy Kar as Cultural Secretary; Naimul Haque Joardar as Information Technology Secretary; Syed Sohel Reza as Legal Affairs Secretary; Nasir Ahmed as Health Assistance Secretary; Hasan Mohammad Titu as Office Secretary; Md. Niamat Ullah as Social Welfare Secretary; Monowar Hossain as Hospitality Secretary; and Benzir Ahmed Tabrij as Sports Secretary.
The Executive Members are Prabir Kanti Bala, Md. Moniruzzaman, Nasirul Islam, A.K.M. Fazlul Haque, Md. Anichuzzaman Rana, Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Md. Masudur Rahman, S.M. Istiab and Md. Mashrur Rahman.
The 17-member Advisory Committee comprises Mir Nasir Hossain, Md. Shahidul Hasan, Kazi Din Mohammad, Kazi Nurul Karim Dilu, Abdut Tawab, Abu Sayer, A.K.M. Arifur Rahman Lichu, Md. Mostafizur Rahman Shamim, Awlad Hossain Babar, M Idris Ali, Shamsul Alam Babu, Mizanur Rahman, Zafar Ahmed Siddiqi Milon, Jahangir Chowdhury Titu, Shamsul Alam Tuku, Md. Jahangir Mia and Afzal Hossain Khan Palash.
