Japanese Embassy held recently an anime/manga illustration workshop by Ms. HARADA Midori, a
renowned anime/manga illustrator, at the Embassy Hall, in cooperation with Anime Expo, AnimeCon,
Animanga Carnival and Source Magazine & Fournetsha.
Japanese Ambassador Iwama said in his speech, "We are happy to hold this event for manga artists,
illustrators and anime lovers. I have learned that there are many passionate Japanese anime fans in
Bangladesh, and anime is becoming more popular every year.”
After successfully conducting the workshop and observing the illustration of young Bangladeshi artists,
Ms. HARADA Midori appreciated their great talent and expressed her hope for their further success in
the future.
