The UK's development finance institution British International Investment has announced a loan
commitment of $50m to BRAC Bank PLC. Signing ceremony was held recently and British High
Commissioner Sarah Cooke attended on the occasion.
"This'll enable small businesses and female entrepreneurs in Bangladesh to take up more economic
opportunities and create more jobs," says British High Commissioner Sarah Cooke.
