Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman today condemned the military attack centring India-Pakistan tension and called for taking steps for a peaceful resolution.

The BNP leader made the call in a post on his verified Facebook page on the India-Pakistan conflict this evening.

In the post, Tarique Rahman wrote, “As tensions are rising in the neighborhood, we condemn the military attack and express our condolences to the affected families. We call on all concerned to show restraint and take steps for a peaceful resolution of the conflict.”

In this connection, he said a stable and peaceful region built on common interests and aspirations serves the best interests of all.”
