Recently, Swiss Deputy Head of Mission, Ms Pignani, spoke at the Insight Exchange and Partnership
Forum of the Swiss supported the Access to Green Financing (A2GF) for Enterprises in Bangladesh.
“One of our observations is that the engagement of the private sector in climate adaptation and
mitigation in Bangladesh is still nascent, but it could catalyse greater investments in climate-resilient
technologies and services in core sectors.” She said.
The event was attended by SMEs, financial institutions, investors, development partners, policy makers
and regulators.
This programme works closely with these stakeholders to make it easier for SMEs to secure green
financing and contribute to a low-carbon and climate-resilient future. The programme implemented by
Truvalu and the UNCDF, in collaboration with One to Watch.
