Swiss Ambassador Reto Renggli witnessed recently the signing of a MoU between Roche Bangladesh
Ltd. and the National Institute of Neurosciences & Hospital to collaborate in treating the rare Spinal
Muscular Atrophy disease in Bangladesh. Highlighting Switzerland’s forte in Research & Development,
Ambassador Renggli remarked that local and multinational pharma companies can better serve the
patients in Bangladesh through collaboration and fair competition.
