Recently, Palestinian Ambassador Yousef Ramadan paid a courtesy call on Health & Family Welfare
Adviser Nurjahan Begum. The Advisor assured that Bangladesh will continue to support the Palestinian
cause and ensured that war-stricken young Palestinians will always have educational opportunities in
Bangladesh on a priority basis. Realizing the urgent need for Palestinian doctors in Gaza, the two sides
discussed ways of facilitating and fast-tracking medical scholarships for students from Gaza in both
public and private medical and dental colleges across Bangladesh.
