Norwegian Ambassador Häkon Arald Gulbrandsen held a courtesy call with Dr. Muhammad Fouzul Kabir
Khan, the Adviser, to the Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources; the Ministry of Road
Transport and Bridges, and the Ministry of Railways.
Their discussion concentrated on the reform initiatives the Adviser is driving, overview of the current
energy and power sector, and other development agendas. Ambassador Hakon expressed the
Norwegian Government's support for the Interim Government's reform efforts and the movement
towards democratic republic political system. He also expressed Norway's interest in investing
renewable energy and support Bangladesh in the green transition.
