King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan is coming to Bangladesh on a 5-day visit on March 25. He will participate in the Independence Day programme.

King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan will pay his respects at Sava Memorial during his visit to Dhaka. He will have a meeting with the President at Bangabhaban. He is also expected to have a meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

A number of agreements are likely to be signed during the visit of the King of Bhutan to Dhaka. Besides, the visit is expected to discuss the establishment of special economic zone for Bhutanese investment in Kurigram, cooperation in various sectors including electricity, agriculture, health sector.

After the visit, the King of Bhutan will leave Dhaka on March 29.
