Japanese Ambassador IWAMA Kiminori met recently Indra Mani Pandey, the
newly assigned Secretary General of BIMSTEC (The Bay of Bengal Initiative for
Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation).
Ambassador Iwama congratulated Ambassador Pandey’s assignment for the
Secretary General, and both sides cordially discussed the future possibility of
cooperation on various issues, including enhancing regional connectivity.
