Recently, the France Ambassador Marie Masdupuy hosted a high-level dialogue on Blue Economy,
ahead of the upcoming UN Ocean Conference that will take place in Nice, in June 2025. The events
brought together government officials, academia, and development partners, about current and future
challenges for harnessing the immense potential of Blue Economy. Dr. Manell Zakharia, a French expert
based in Mumbai working on Blue Economy cooperation between India ����and France����, shared
his insights on concrete ways to further boost the partnership between France and Bangladesh on
oceanography.
