A colourful procession is set to be held in Dhaka-17 constituency today on the occasion of the 48th founding anniversary of ruling Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
The procession will begin from Banani Graveyard Road in the capital at 3 pm today and will end reaching Mohakhali Bus Stand after parading different city streets.
Confirming the matter, Abdur Rahman Sunny, a representative of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman for Dhaka-17 constituency, said the leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organisations will spontaneously participate in this procession as part of the celebration of the party’s founding anniversary.
Necessary preparations have already been taken to make the procession a success, Sunny added.
