Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus will join the inaugural session of the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session here tomorrow morning.
According to his programme schedule, he will hold a meeting with the director general of World Trade Organisation (WTO) at 10:30 am tomorrow (NY time).
The chief adviser will also hold a meeting with the President of World Bank at 11 am.
A meeting between Prof Yunus and The Her Majesty Máxima, Queen of the Netherlands, will be held at 11:30 am.
He will attend an event titled “Fashion for Development (F4D): 13th Annual Official First Ladies Luncheon” at 12:30 pm.
The chief adviser will also join a “Meeting of Public and Private Sector Leaders on Social Innovation: Mobilizing Financing through Social Innovation” at 2:45 pm.
Kris Licht, CEO, Reckitt Benckiser, will meet Prof Yunus at 5 pm.
The chief adviser will attend a reception hosted by the President of the United States and Mrs. Melania Trump at 7 pm.
Prof Yunus today arrived in New York to attend the 80th UNGA session.
A commercial flight of Emirates airlines carrying the Chief Adviser and his entourages landed at the John F Kennedy International Airport, New York, at 3:00 pm (NY time) today.
