Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif announced that his country has decided to boycott the India match in protest against Bangladesh’s exclusion from the T20 World Cup.

Addressing cabinet members on Wednesday, he said, “We will not play the match against India; because there should be no politics on the playing field. We have taken this decision very thoughtfully. We should stand by Bangladesh completely. I think this is a very appropriate decision.”
