Recently, Nepalese Ambassador Mr. Ghanshyam Bhandari met with General Secretary of Bangladesh
Nationalist Party (BNP) Mr. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
During the meeting, they discussed various aspects of Nepal-Bangladesh relations and explored ways to
further deepen collaboration in areas of trade, energy, transit, connectivity, education and people-to-
people exchanges.
BNP National Standing Committee Member Mr. Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and Organizing
Secretary Ms. Shama Obaid were also present during the meeting. Ambassador Mr.
Bhandari was accompanied by Deputy Chief of Mission Ms. Lalita Silwal.
