Religion Affairs Adviser Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain today laid emphasis on making orphans self-reliant so that they can contribute to the country’s development.
“It is not enough to just provide for orphans, but it is necessary to make them self-reliant. They must be prepared in such a way that they can build their own future and become assets to the society,” he said.
The adviser said this while speaking as the chief guest at a view-sharing meeting held at Tanzimul Muslimeen Orphanage in Chattogram city.
Khalid thanked the Tanzimul Muslimeen Orphanage authorities for taking appropriate education and training measures to help the orphans stand on their own feet.
