Danish Ambassador Christian Brix Møller visited recently DBL Group’s garment industries.
DBL Group showcased several initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of production and
improving working conditions, ranging from establishing care centres to investing in Danish solutions for
wet processing, which saves time, energy and water.
DBL has been part of the Partnership for Cleaner Textile (PACT) from the onset, a green partnership
with IFC and BGMEA, which helps garment factories become sustainable through “green audits” and
customized technological solutions.
Denmark has been funding PACT since 2018 with DKK 40 million and expects to support a third phase,
currently under development. More and more companies have joined the programme.
