Danish Ambassador Christian Brix Møller, present as Special Guest during the inaugural celebration of
the ACI-CORO´s factory recently in Dhaka.
CO-RO, a well-established Danish fruit giant and ACI Ltd, a well reputed conglomerate from
Bangladesh have joined forces to locally produce the Sunquick brand at a new greenfield factory. This
initiative goes beyond business – it also aims to reduce plastic wastage through a circular value chain.
“Today we mark a tremendous progress in the Food and Agricultural sector between BD and DK. I
must acknowledge the efforts made by the Bangladesh government to improve the business
environment to make it more conducive to foreign investments. Denmark is committed to fostering
an enduring business partnership with Bangladesh – and it is my firm belief that Bangladesh will
benefit enormously from attracting much more investments from Europe.”
Ambassador Christian Brix Møller said.
Agriculture Minister Dr. MD Abdus Shahid MP, Mr. Dowla from ACI Ltd, Mr. Søren Holm Jensen from
Co-Ro – Denmark, and Nils Ronnow, Managing Director, CO-RO were also present at the inauguration.
