Climate Parliament Bangladesh delegation team attended a meeting recently with the delegation of the
European Union to Bangladesh. The meeting was attended by Ms. Zara Mahbub MP, Member,
Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Habibur Rahman Habib MP,
Member, Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Climate Parliament
Bangladesh, and Edwin Koekkoek, First Counsellor, Team Leader, Green Inclusive Development and
Social Protection, delegation of the European Union to Bangladesh.
During the discussion, both teams addressed the extent of Bangladesh's renewable energy transition,
circular economy, green urban development, and entrepreneurship. We look forward to collaborating
with the European Union in Bangladesh at the upcoming Regional Climate Summit in 2024.
