“We welcome the July Declaration and the commitment to hold elections in February,” said Salahuddin Ahmed, noting that the party views these steps as positive moves toward restoring democratic order in the country.

The senior BNP leader expressed optimism that the polls announcement would contribute to restoring democratic stability in the country.

“We believe this announcement will help establish political stability. No uncertainty will prevail in this regard,” he added.

He also noted that the BNP expects this positive political development to revive confidence in the economy. “We hope this will create momentum in business, trade and investment,” Salahuddin said.
